Thank you for your interest in the Fat Loss Coach program. I ask all my potential new clients what they would like the final outcome to be in working with me. Too many times a person's thoughts are just about starting and not enough about what the finish will be. It's common for someone to ask can I help them to lose weight?

My response is always the same. The focus needs to be losing fat without losing lean weight or reducing the metabolism. Most important is being reeducated about the proper way to feed your body without jeopardizing your health in the process. Weight loss will come by simply eating fewer calories than your body uses. That's why all diet's seem to work in the beginning. The problem with diet's, as your losing weight, you are losing a combination of fat and muscle. Muscle loss reduces the metabolism. Your body is shutting down its metabolic rate because it is being under fed. That is why the failure rate is so high.

Nine out of ten potential new clients I meet are surprise when I tell them they are under eaters not over eaters. The secret to managing your weight lies in three changes in eating behavior. To control your hormonal response you must eat the right type of food, in the proper portion, at least four times per day. This will control your blood sugar levels and your insulin response to what you eat. The program needs to be fitted to you, almost like being fitted for a pair of shoes. Then you have to learn to cycle how you eat to lose fat without losing muscle. Each of my clients have their Gylco cycle customized to them based on percent of body fat, activity level, exercise schedule and food desires.

Learning what to eat is half the mission getting to your ideal weight and staying there, you must also develop new eating habits that become your eating character. Managing your weight is a lifestyle, it's something you become, not try.
